to get rid of the chewing gum and
not your garment: i
“Bring me an egg white, some
soap and some lukewarm water.
Then stand back and watch me ;
soften the gum with the egg white
—so 1 And finally wash it complete
ly away with the soapy water.”
If your suit isn’t washable, the
fabric-saving element is carbon
tetra-chloride, which will remove
all traces of stain.
