Bruce A. Ouzts which was solem
nized Saturday evening with the
Rev. E. F. Gettys officiating at his
home at Do la Howe. Only a few
close friends witnessed the cere
mony.
Mrs. Ousts is the daughter of
Mr. B. L. Johnson of Charleston,
S. C., and the late Mrs. Johnson.
She received her education at the
De la Howe State School near Mc
Cormick and since her graduation
two years ago has been employed
here by the H Drucker Store.
Mr. Ouzts is the son of Mrs. E.
V. Ouzts and the late Mr. Ouzts
of Roebuck, S. C. For sometime he
has been stationed at McCormick
as an employee of the State High
way Department.
After a short wedding trip the
young couple is residing at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Cres-
well on Main Street.

The T. E. L. Class of the local
Baptist Sunday School was de
lightfully entertained at the home
of Mrs. A. Thad Persons Wednes
day p. m. with Mrs. Arthur Cole
man, Mrs. W. S. Arrington, Mrs.
E. Hanvey and Mrs. Kennedy Dow-
tin assisting.
A helpful devotional period was
conducted by Mrs. D. C. Talbert
who discussed “Our Greatest
Needs.”

ness session conducted by class
president, Mrs. Edgar Price, Mrs.
