Heiss of Seneca visited relatives here the past week end. Mr. Fred Buzhardt and family visited relatives in Greenwood Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Miss Scott is a graduate of Draugh- on’s Business college, and for the last two years has been in Wash ington, D. C., where she is with a governmental agency. Her many friends in Columbia and Washing ton, as well as elsewhere, will be cordially interested in the news of her approaching marriage. Mr. Murray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Murray of McCormick, was graduated from The Citadel. He is now connected with the social se curity board in Washington and is attending the law school of George town university. iXt Harvey-j ennings Engagement Announced ictry C. Seott J. W. Murray ToWed Pinopolis, March 18.— Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Harvey announce the engagement of his sister Daisy Elnita to James Andrew Jennings of McCormick and Ware Shoals, the wedding to take place at the home of the bride-elect in April. Miss Harvey is the daughter of the late Lewis H. Harvey and Min nie Beatson Harvey. Miss Harvey received her B. S. Degree from Limestone College, and since her graduation, she taught Home Eco nomics in the Abbeville High School and in Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner, and has been Home Demonstration Agent in Mc Cormick County for the past two years. Mr. Jennings is the son of J. L. Jennings and the late Effie Hollo way Jennings of McCormick. For twelve years, he was connected with the McCormick County Paper. Prior to accepting the position which he now holds with the Ware Shoals Manufacturing Company, he worked with the Southern Print ing and Publishing Company, Charleston, S. C. D. C. The wedding will take place at 5:30 the afternoon of April 17 in Shandon Presbyterian church. Miss Scott, an unusually lovely ard charming girl, is the elder daughter of her parents. She at tended the University of South Carolina, where she became a Berger-Drucker Engagement Announced Lincolnton, Ga.— Mr. and Mrs. I. Berger announce the engagement of their daughter.
