The Washington Consolidated High School mid-way Parksville and Modoc in the lower section of McCormick County will begin its 1936-37 session Thursday, Septem ber 10, with formal exercises. A program Jhas been arranged, ac cording to Supt. E. A. Williams, and all patrons and friends of the school are urged to attend. I agree with Senator Byrnes when he says, “There is no way in which a man elected to public of fice can show his appreciation other than to discharge the duties of his office to justify the confidence reposed in him.” I feel that I have discharged the duties of Rife office of solicitor in such a manner as to justify my continuance in that position. I shall appreciate the support of the voters of the circuit in the second pri mary to be held on September 8. If again elected I shall endeavor to continue to faithfully perform the duties of the office of solicitor fairly and impartially. At this time I appear to have a lead of approximately five hundred votes over my nearest opponent which mil neccesitate a second race and I am hoping that the Voters of the circuit will voice* their approval of my official conduct by giving me a handsome majority in the second primary. I shall continue to conduct this campaign upon a high and unselfish plane. I am asking for reelection on my merit alone and will appreciate the whole heart ed support of the people. T. C. CALLISON.
