Covington, Ky., Saturday after
noon, August 15, 1936, at half after
two o’clock. The impressive ring
ceremony was performed by the
Rev. John L. Tilton, pastor of the
First Methodist Church of Coving-

Miss Frances Edmunds, sister of
the bride, witnessed the ceremony.
Mrs. Daughtry is the youngest
daughter of Mrs. Estelle Dunaway
Edmunds and the late Samuel L:

lege of Greenwood, S. C. For the 1
past five years she has been em- j
ployed as stenographer in St. Pet

For her wedding the bride was
unusually beautiful in a navy blue
triple sheer suit with white acces
sories. Her shoulder corsage was
of bride’s roses showered with val
ley lilies.
Mr. Daughtry is a native of
Bowling Green, Ky., and at present
