Due to weather conditions and
the bad country roads over which
the buses travel, the McCormick
Public Schools were closed Monday,
February 3rd, to open again Mon
day, February 10th, on regular
schedule.
Mr. W. R. Miner of Plum Branch
was a visitor here Tuesday.
Rev. A. Thad. Persons, pastor of
the local Baptist church, Mrs. Per
sons and their thr§e sons left Mon
day for Barnsville, Ga., to visit Mrs.
Persons’ brother who is critically
ill. While there they will also visit
his mother at Yatesville, returning
to McCormick Friday.
Mr. Arch Britt of Lancaster was
a visitor here Tuesday.

N. J., was a visitor here Friday.

The Susannah Wesley Bible Class
'will meet Wednesday afternoon,
February 12th, at 3:15 o’clock, at
the home of Mrs. J. L. Caudle. All

was a business visitor here Monday.
