BELL, Special Agent. • Nov. 11, 1935. - y • *': Broadway’s comedy hit of the sea^ son revolves about a man in his forties who thought that he was too old for love, until he found out that no man in love is ever old. Marshall is the man. A successful playwright, he loves his secretary, knows that she reciprocates his feeling, yet hesitates to propose. When his young rival, Phillip Reed, finds the going hard, Mar shall aids him. Reed marries Sylvia Sidney and takes her away on his honeymoon, but that’s not the end of the story. Away from Marshall, she is hap py for only a short time. Reed’s romantic nonsense, his lack of feel ing turn her thoughts back to Mar shall. In a hilarious final sequence. Miss Sidney manages to convince Marshall that he really loves her. and forces him to stand up against her husband for her. It all end; happily on a comedy note. Wesley Ruggles directed the pic ture which features in the support ing cast Astrid Allwyn, Holmes Her bert and Ernest Cossart, in the but ler role which he originated in the play. W Chevrolet October Production Totalled 69,128 Units u 1.1 Love Comedy Picture Stars Sylvia Sidney The pungently humorous story of Production of Chevrolet cars an<^ trucks during October totalled 69,- 128 units, an increase of nearly 2' per cent over October, 1934, offi cials of the Chevrolet Motor Co announced Friday. This figure if more than 9,000 units above the an ticipated output for the month, anc is the highest initial month’s pro : duction of any new model in sev eral years. As a result of the quick start on its 1936 production, Chevrolet had some 60,000 cars in the hands of its dealers throughout the country when the new line was announced November 2. This assured every dealer not only of cars for display purposes, but of additional units for impiediate delivery. The 25 Clievrolet manufacturing and^ assembly plants, strategically located in all parts of the United States, will be operating at capacity for weeks, and probably well into 1936, according to factory advices. of each week.
