Rehoboth was well represented at
Plum Branch Sunday night. The
school auditorium was packed. It
was one of the best plays of the
kind I ever saw. The characters
were selected with great skill and
each one carried out their part
well. It was a beautiful and whole
some entertainment. From the
splendid attention, each heart
must have carried back to the first
Christmas. The decorations were
beautiful, so like the days of Christ.
The occasion was just as solemn as
it was beautiful, with the walled
city, the well, and tired travelers
coming for water. May we each go
back to Bethlehem and the babv
^ns make un if possible all
our failures to Him, in better
Christian lives.

very effective by means of its
scenery, costumes, and sincerity of
cast, brought home to each of the
large number present the real
meaning of Christmas.

Among those home for the

Much interest is still being
shown in the Plum Branch Bridge
Club. Our last meeting was held
with Miss Amelia Wideman and
Mrs. G. E. Langley, at the home of
the latter. Miss Irene Langley made
the highest score. A delicious salad
course was served.
Friday afternoon the Washing
ton High School girls played the
Plum Branch girls in a very inter
esting basketball game. Again, the
right spirit of the game was well
remembered by both teams. The
score at the close of the game was
32 to 19 in favor of Plum Branch.
