Can constipation be overcome?
“Yes!” ^ay medical men. “Yes!”
declare' thousands who have fol
lowed their advice and know.
You are not , apt to cure your
constipation .With salts, pills and
tablets, or any habit-forming ca
thartic. But you can overcome this
condition just by gentle regulaliou
with a suitable liquid laxative.
Dr. Caldweira Syrup Pepsin has
the average person's bowels just as
regular as clockwork in a few weeks'
time.
Why Hospitals use
a liquid laxative
The dose of a liquid laxative can be
measured. The action can be con
trolled. It forms no habit; you need
not take a “double dose” a day or
two later. Will uoi irritate kidneys.
The right liquid laxative will bi'Pg
a perfect movement, with qo dis
comfort at the lime, or afterward.
The wrong cathartic may leer)
you constipated as long as you kee;)
on using it!
In buying any laxative, read ■ 'S
label. If it contains a doubtful fireg,
don’t take it. If you don’t know
what is in it, don’t chance .1. "Hu
contents of Dr. Caldwell’s Syrup
Pepsin is stated plainly on die
label; fresh herbs, pure pepsin,
active senna.
Its very taste tells you r.yryn
pepsin is wholesome. A delightful
taste, and delightful ac
tion. Safe for expectant
mothers, and children.

When Jesus failed to perform any
miracles in Nazareth the storm
Vroke. All the pent-up envy of the
little town for one who has dared
to outgrow it, gathered itself into
a roar. They surged forward hur
rying him through the main street
to the edge of a precipice where
they would have thrown him over.
But the wrath which had been suf
ficient to conceive his destruction
grew suddenly impotent when he
turned and faced them. They
shrank back, and before they could
reform their purpose, he had pass
ed through the midst of them and
was on his way.
In his ears sounded the buzz of
! malicious comment, but he was too
heart-sick to look back. From
henceforth Capernaum became “his
