Miss Margaret, Mrs. Scott Strokecker and son and Mrs. Lillie Jennings and Mr. and Mrs. William Jennings from Columbia spent several days of the past week here as guests in the home of Mrs. Georgia Talbert. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Rheney left Tuesday for Miami, Fla., where they were called on account of the ill ness of their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Herbert Rheney, who is a patient in a hospital in that city. Masters Lawrence and Grady Strom are visiting Master Bill Charles at Greenwood. Mr. Rupert Talbert, who under went an operation for appendicitis at the Greenwood Hospital yester day morning, is reported to be do ing very nicely at this time. Mr. O'Neal Strom has returned home after spending a week in Newport News, Va., with his bro ther, Mr. Lee Strom. Mr. J. L. Traynham of Honea Path was a business visitor in town one day last week.
