Minus of Memphis, Tenn., are spending the week here with her sister, Mrs. J. B, Britt, and visiting other relatives here and at 3t. George. Mr. W. H. Wooten, agricultural teacher, will attend the annual Vo cational Agricultural Conference in 'Columbia next week, July 6-11. Mr. and Mrs. H. Drucker, Miss Rebecca Drucker and Mrs. W. S. Pipkin visited relatives and'friends in Newberry last Sunday. Our community was visited Tues day night with a nice rain which was very acceptable. M?sr Magerle Nash returned last week to her home at Lincolnton, Ga., after spending a couple of weeks here with her aunt, Mrs. W. M. Nash. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Hornsby from Bradley were the guests Saturday night to Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Bussey. Master Henry Bussey is spending this week with relatives at Clarks Hill. Mr. W. W. Reese of Augusta was a visitor here Sunday to his broth er, Mr. J. Morgan Reese. Miss Ellen Bosdell from McCor mick spent the past few days here with Miss Nettie Thelma Bussey. Mies Lucy Bussey is spending this week at Bradley with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hornsby. Miss Margie Bussey of Augusta spent the past week here with her cousins, Misses Hazel Emily and Caroline Dukes. Culbreath and Miss A. L. Morgan motored to Edgefield and Johnston, calling at the home of Mrs. Cole Berry; then called to see Mrs. Rhoden’s lovely flower garden. She has many kinds of flowers as well as a lily pool, and fountain. Artificial birds of many kinds are perched about, huge frogs are on the edge of the pool ready to plunge in. She certainly has a lovely flower garden and it is well kept. The afternoon was very pleasantly spent. While in Johns ton a short call was made to Mrs. Hodgens, wife of our former pastor. Quite a few from this section attended the division W. M. S. meeting at Plum Branch. The programme was in charge of our efficient and faithful third divi sional president, Mrs. J. M. Bussey. Miss A. L. Morgan read the devo tions. Songs by the choir with Mrs. Bracknell at the piano. Prayer by the Rev. Orr, pastor of Plum Branch church. Roll Call of the juniors.
