Dorn Sunday. Miss Pauline Anderson of Au gusta is pn a visit to her cousin, Miss Mary Elizabeth Giles. Miss Mary Elizabeth Giles is at home, after a pleasant visit in Au- gusta to her aunt, Mrs. G. S. And erson. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller and son, Paul, Jr., from Annapolis, Md., are here on a visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Wrenn. Mrs., H. I. White and son, Mr. Paul White, from Atlanta; Ga., were visitors here and at Troy over the week end. Misses Lizzelle Tucker of Lownd- esville and Margaret Cook and Sarah Bowles from Columbia spent the past week end here with friends. Mr. Jim Rheney of the TJ. S. Navy is spending about ten days here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Rheney. Miss Edna Duhcan left Saturday on an . extended visit -o relatives in Millhaven, Ga. Mrs. A. B. Lyon returned home Tuesday after a two weeks’ stay with relatives in Mt. Carmel, Abbe ville, Anderson, and Elberton, Ga. Mrs. Frederick A. Watts of Mel bourne, Fla., spent the week end here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Martin, while en route to Co lumbia, S. C., to attend summer school at the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Herbert N. Coleman is a patient at an Augusta infirmary, where she will undergo an opera tion for throat trouble. Club of Rehoboth held its monthly meeting at the hospi table home of Mrs. W. R. Gilchrist. The afternoon was pleasantly and profitably spent. After the busi ness session, Mrs. Stallworth made a fine address on flower identifi cation, using mostly evergreens. Several were identified at sight; when asked to select and name a branch almost everyone did. There were about 15 present, and sever al visitors. The president request ed a large attendance at the next meeting at the home of Mrs. J. P. Talbert. We wish to either pay or discuss some means of raising our part to the scholarship fund. Our agent also renewed her request that the homes be named and a list of names was read. She also requested that' the home names be used^ at the head of personal letters. Mrs. E. M. On last Wednesday, June 17th, the classmates of 52 years ago held their annual reunion with Mr. Al bert Gibert. They swapped yarns and recalled the days when they attended the Carolina Military Academy at Charlotte, N. C., as members of the class of 1879. With more than half a century passed since they were in school together four of the original six still sur vive. In addition to Mr. Gibert, there are Messrs.R. Evans Wylie of Lancaster, Hazel Thomas of Co lumbia and Capt. J. B. Guess of Miss Helen Gilchrist is spend ing this week in the Collier’s sec tion. The W. M. S. will meet at the home of Mrs. J. E.
