Henry Walker and Hugh Brown spent the past week end on a fishing trip near Ridgeland. Miss Elizabeth Gable has re turned from a two weeks’ visit to relatives at Ware Shoals. Mrs.. J. C. Parks and son, Bobbie, are spending some time here with her father, Mr. D. M. Bullock, who has been indisposed the last sev eral days. * Dr. G. A. Traylor of Augusta was a business visitor here Tuesday. Mrs. Janie Tice, Miss Nora Tice, Mrs. Markwaters and Miss Sprad- ley of Augusta spent last Thursday near town in the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Gable. Mrs. Wistar Harmon and son, Wistar, Jr., are spending the week in Abbeville with her father, Mr. <2. A. Haigler. Mrs. E. E. Barnhardt and son, John, cf Rock Hill, Mrs. Frank Mabry of Albermarle, N. C., and Miss Louise Barnhardt are spend ing a few days here with Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Barnhardt. Miss Juanita Chamberlain has returned to McCormick, after a week’s visit to relatives in Augusta. She was accompanied home by her ^cousin, Miss Frances Mallet, who will spend a week or nore iiere. Mrs. W. J. Connor has returned from a two weeks’ visit to relatives and friends at Allendale.
