Langley-Bowen Plum Branch, May 4.—Coming as a climax to the numerous so cial affairs given in honor of the bride-elect was the marriage on Monday afternoon, May 4th of Miss Allene Langley to Mr. Gordon Cody Bowen of Miami, Florida. The wedding took place at the Metho dist Church at five o’clock with Rev. J. Dawson Bowen, father of the groom, assisted by the bride’s pastor, officiating. The impressive ring ceremony was used. The many friends of Mrs. Milo Abercrombie (nee Miss Mallie Cade) of Charleston, West Va., will regret to hear that Mr. Milo Abercrombie was killed instantly Thursday night by a truck as ha was about to enter a bus near Blackburn, Va.
