It seems that spring has really
come at last. All of the farmers in
this part of the county are work
ing early and late, plowing and
planting being all the style now.
We hope that the epidemic of
“Spring fever” won’t break out
around here.
New comers in our community
are Mr. and Mrs. Jim Callison and
family, who have moved into the
old Wideman homestead, Sylvania.
We extend to them a very hearty
welcome and hope they will like
their new home.
We were all saddened a ffew
weeks ago by the death of Mr. John
Wideman of Jacksonville, Fla. Mr.
Wideman spent his boyhood in our
community and also made fre
quent visits to his old home here
which he loved so dearly. We all
feel that in his death we have lost
a very dear friend .< who will be
greatly missed.
