Strom Thurmond was notified that he had passed the bar examination and he motored over to Columbia Saturday to be sworn in as an attorney by the supreme court, re ceiving his commission at that time from State of South Carolina to practice law. Mr. Thurmond stood a highly creditable examina tion. He has been studying in his quickly acquire much needed play ground equipment.
