On Wednesday morning, Mrs. W.
L. Acker entertained charmingly
for Miss Connor, attractive bride-
elect of November. Many hand
some roses and chrysanthemums
decorated the home. The guests

gressions, after which Mrs. Acker
entered with a 'tremendous tray
which sfye placed in front of Miss
Connor, asking her to serve the
guests. On lifting the cover Miss
