The Athletic council shows much
executive ability along lines of in
stigating ventures for the raising of
funds for the athletic association.
The latest undertaking is a play
which is to be presented early in
October. “Be An Optomist" is a
R 1 alty Play produced by Walter H.
Baker Company. The fact that it is

its chaim and dramatic value.
Rehearsals have begun on the play
itself but the accompanying choruses
h"ve not yet been completely casted.
There will be three groups: boys and
girls from grammar school, a chorus
of girls and another of bc'ys from the
high school.

vil have been using their heads for a
little more than a hat rack the past
week—planning ways to aid the Ath
letic Association.
The council decided to sell sand
wiches, candy and chocolate milks at

very successfully and a neat little
