Roports of retail deliveries for the first four months this year, plus the estimated figure for four weeks in May, ind'eate that the domestic dealer organization, with General Motois of Canada and General Mo tors Export, delivered approximate ly 525.000 Chevrolets to date, Mr. Kl'ngler stated. Every month showed a consistent gain over the corresponding period last year, according to Mr. Kling- ler, the average per month gain be ing above 20.000 units, w’th the re sult that deliveries to consumers the first four months of 1928 were near ly on a par with deliveries for the first five months last year. This unusual performance was made possible.. Mr. Klingler assert ed, through the far-seeing poL’cy of the company in planning its produc tion facilities so that cars might be immediately available to the public everywhere. WHITE TOWN NEWS (Too Late For Last Week.) As it is st 11 bad rainy weather the farmers can’t get very much work done in their farm in this part of the country. Mrs. Henry Quarles and Mrs. Clay Jennings were the pleasant guests of Mrs. Guy Jennings Saturday. Miss Marie White is spending a few days with friends and relatives in this section. Miss Olivia Holliday spent Friday night with M : ss Geneva Ridlehoover. Mrs. Sallie White was the guest of Mis. R. A. Reynolds Thursday. Miss Louise Dorn spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mrs. W. M. McKinney. Mrs. George Reynolds and Miss Lula Reynolds also spent the day with Mrs. McKinney Sun day. Little Frances Mae Winn spent one night last week w'th one of her school mates, Oculese Holliday. Miss Ruby Dorn and little sister Ola spent Saturday night with their aunt, Mrs. Earl White. Miss Leila Reynolds spent one night last week with Miss Oliv’a Holliday. Miss Fannie Bush is staying some time with her sister, Mrs. Dewey White. Miss Leila Reynolds spent a day or so with Mrs. Eldred Reynolds this week.
