We have no sympathy. with those
papers that object to giving a litt!e of
their space to advertise the State Fair.
This institution is'for the general good.
It is by no means a money-making con
cern. With us, that is the test of paid
matter. If there is individual gain ex
pected, then all matter pertaining to
the enterprise ought to be charged for.
The State fair is of eneral beneit and
the newspaper that begrudges a few
lines in its behalf, has very little svm
pathy with the movements that go to
the upbuilding of the country in genl

to the State Fair in our power and to
advise the people to attend. In addition
