Monday night near Prosperity, 1
tramp who gave his name as A. Morer
son, badly beat up and robbed an old
man by the iame of .1. E. Bonds, wh<
has been selling medicine in this county
It seems that the two were in Prosper,
ity Monday drinking tuugethcr and lef
town in the afternoon, but instead of
going to a house the tramp persuaded
the old man to spend the night in th(
woods with him. About midnight the
tramp jumped on the old man and bea
him up pretty badly and robbed him o
$3.00 in silver. A warrant, has been
issued for his arrest, but the tramp a
