that she is under obligations to remain
in Newberry, the school here having
already opened.

Thompson Denn is, the eldest son of
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Dennis, died at their
home in tils city on Wednesday mor'n
ing aft,er a lingering illness of several
weeks. Thme young man was In the
17th yeair of his age. His remains were
bui'ied at Rosemont cemetery yesteir
(lay morning at, 10 30 o'clock. The
funeral services were hold at the resi
dence, conducted by Rev. W. K. Sligh.
