could be put in the postoflice in that
neighborhood wit.h the words on it
that this lady's lover or blrother
was killed during tihe Civil war and
wvas found by a Union soldier on t.hoe
person of a Confederate. If tihe
owner of the picture is fonnd 1 will
sendl tiho original. I have no symn
pathy for Union soldiers, robbers or
1looters.
Thle photograph sent shows a
young lady with large boands about
her neck, wearing an evening cos
tumoc made of floweored mlatorial, and
having fringed sleeves. She wears
a large brooch of somne kind and her
hair is parted in the mid(dle and
dressed in the style in vogue many
years ago. A copy of it may be
s3en at The State office.
