house of Dr. W. E. Pelhan, where the
key had been heid under the carpet on
the second floor, found the key, went to
the pestoflice, unlocked box 48, and
picked out the letter fronm ainong others.

to whc-,n it was addressed and toldl. hit
his nattne.
When seen afterwards hie explained
that he put himnself under the influence
of the four gentlemen who knew where
the key was and1( acted inerely accordling
