of Appeals today handed down a deci
sion in the Governorship case in favor
of the Democrats.
Ex-Governor Taylor. tonight author
ized the statement that an appeal on
behalf of Governor Taglor and Lieu
tenant Governor Marshall will be car
ried to the Supreme Court of the
United States.
Mr. Bradley and Judge W. II. Yost,
counsel for the Republican Sta,te ofll
cers, were in consultation with Gov
ernor Taylor for several hours this
afternoon and the above statement was
made at the close of .tha conf-erence.
It is said. that Col. W. C. P. Breckin
ridge and the Republcan leaders from
different parts of the St'ate will meet
Governor Taylor in confuregce here.to
morrow morning.
Ex-Governor Bradley said: "We
will: not take ad vantage of any techni
calities to delay the progress of the
case. The decision of the Court of Ap
peals is not disheartening to us.. We.
will ask for a writ of.error to the SiI

afternoon, at his home, near Chappell's,
aged 73 years. lHe volunteered in Jan

Curtail Their Output.
Trirton, Ga , April -8.--The. Georgia
Saw. Mill Association, representing
some 300 yellow pine mill plants in
Georgia, South Carolina and Florida,
at a meeting held here yesterday do
cided by a pract,ically unanimous vote
that on and after May 10 all.mills be
longing to the members of the associa
tion will be run on two-thirds t,ime.
This will affet housands of op)eratives,
and decrease the output of yellow p)ine
in this State- nearly one-third. It is
understood that, the limited supply of
yellow pine timber in sight Is largely
the cause of this action, as tho associa
tion doubtless thinks, prices should rule
higher in view of the small supply. It
is by no means a secret ihat many of
the larger mills .only havo enough
standing timber in sight to last three or
four years, while even the most for
tunate onVy report sumtcient in sight to
run sfenei and eight, years,
