Mr. B. O'Dell Duncan, of Newberry,
was in the city yesterday, returning
home from Charlotte, N. C., where he
testified at the meeting of the indus
trial commission: Mr-. D)uncan was for
a numnber- of years in the Consular Ser
vice and has observed the conditions
in Turkey, italy, Spain and other Euro
peani countries. He was on tihe wit

n their power for him, but within an
out' his spirit was sweetly sloeping

Rev. Williamson and his good family
ave the sincere sympathy of the whole
own in this sad hour of alliietion, and
nany are the bleeding hearts this
no"niug in unison with theirs, at the
udden taking away of their bright
ittle boy.
The funeral will be held this after
oon, and will leave the residence at
:30 o'clock. Services at the grave at
Intertc'it at Rosemont cemetery.
