and I'aern
The County Teachers' Associatio
met at the Graded school building of
Saturday and was fairly well attendc<
by the teachers of the county.
The program was an interesting one
and the addresses, discussions and pa
pers were of more than usual interes
to the teachers.
President George B. Cromer gave l
most interesting talk on the subjec
assigned to him-a Study of Comenius
Mr. IIenry also gave anl interestink
talk of E'xaminations, whieh was fol.
lowed by a general discussion of the
subject, much to the benelit of t,hosc
present.
"Nature's Study,' a paper by Mist
Mary 13urton, was one of the best pa
pers ever read before the association,
It had been carefully and aceuratel.y
prepnred, and was most excellently ren
dered, bringing forth applause from
the listeners.

The woman who is lovely in face,
form and temper will always have
falends, but one who would be attrac

weak, sickly and all run down, she
will be nervo.s and irritable. If she
has constipation or kidney trouble, her
impure blood wili cause pimples,
blothes, skin eruptions and a wretched
complexion. Elect-ric Hitters is the
best medicine in the world to regulate
stomach, liver and kidneys and to puri

bright eyes, smooth, velvety skin, rich

Mr. 1Editor: We see from the papers
that our present County Supervisor
will not stand for re-election, and in
casting about for an available honest
man to fill that important office, our
minds instinctively turn to the person
mentioned below. This man we now
beg to put in nomination. He is tho
roughly competent and in e'very way
equipped to satisfactorily discharge the
duties Incident to this oelice, for he will
carry to it his former experience as
Chairman of the old Board of County
Commissioners, as well as practical
knowledge of all its requirements.
Besides this fitness for the office, he is
a one-armed Confederate veteran, and
one of the few who remain with us that
followed the fortunes of the Starry
Cross to its imperishable glory. That
man is John Drayton Smit,b.
