revokiing of all the beer privileges in
the State on November 1. The head of
Dispenser Stelling of Charleston was
1lso about to fall in the basket yester
day when it was decided to allow a
hearing in his ease. As yet no succes
sor his been elected to fill Mr. )outbit's
place ats commissioner. The board
reached a breathing point in the sen
sational week's work about .1 o'clock
yesterday afternoon and then took a
recess until next Wednesday night at
8 o'clock, when the coimissioner will
probably be elected and other develop
ients will follow. Yesterday the im
portal t steps taken were on the double
quick, and there was no extended dis
cussion. It, seeis certain that the beer
pi vileges are gone beyond recall.
