about 20 miles from Macon, said
that the Edler House, one of the
leading hotols, was destroyed by fire
th ib evening. About 100 guests wore
in the building, but all of thoim es.
caped. Only two woro injured and
they but slightly. All of the bag
gage was lost., however, the gueste
having no tino to got into their
rooms after the fire was discovered.
The lire originated in the rear of
the building but the cause has not
boon ascertained. The hotel was
separated from other buildiigs, conl
sequently the fire did not spread.
