Geo. S. Mower, of Newberry, is the
other candidate for Attorney General.
He is regarded as one of the best law
yers In the State, and is a man of fine
business abilities. He Is a prohibition
ist.-Greenville Mountaineer.
A slight change of sehedule has been
made on the C., N & L. passenger
train. The train from Columbia arrives
at 12.20 P. im. and the train for Colum
bia arrives at 2 37~ p. mn. The new
s.e'edule went into effect last Sunday.
Mr. C. 1E. Summer, of Summer B3ros.,
ieft yesterday for Hendersonville, N. C.,
and other points in the mountains of
Western North Carolina to spend four
weeks and take a mueh needed rest.
We hope he may have a pleasant, and

Mr'. Moewer, one of the candidates for
Attorney General, judging from the
signs of the t,imes, is going to get ma
terial help1 from Lancaster. He is one
of the best lawyers in the St,ate, and a
man of irreproachable character.
