Chester, Oct. 5.--The annual synod
of Presbyterial church of South Caro
ilna, which has lbeen in session at
Chester silce Tuesday cale to a close

tion. Thell enrollment has taxed the
capacity of the institution to' the ut
most in every department. Steps have
been taken for the enlargement. A
new Campus. acres has been 'ur
chased and dalns for a complete an(
modern plant are now -heing prepared.
It is hoped that construction will be
