of 871,000 bales of this year since the
forecast of a luonth ago was shown
in the deplartment of agriculture's
September cotton report. issuted today
forecasting the total crop at 10,57,5,000
bales. The condition oi the crop (10
clined 13.S points (u ring August as
coiared with all average declile of
7.7 points ill the previous tenl es,
the condition having been 57.0 per
c(nt of* normal on August 25 compared
with 70.8 on Juily 25.
This year's cottol crop was fore
cast today at III.57,l000 bales by the
department of agriculture being its
