There seems quite an opidemic of lagril)pe or flu in our midst. Most 'every one seems to have been attacked. Among the more serious are Mr. and 'Mrs. John 1C. Smith, Misses Ruth and Tay Hill, Mr. and 'Mrs. John H. Whar. ,ton, Jr., and numerous others not so )serious. Our efficient physician, Dr, J. L. Fennell, 'has been kept quite busy -and all are much 'better. Messrs. Sam and Preston Williams rave moved their saw mill to Mr. Jim mie J. Hill's place and are now saw Ing for the public. As a result there are quite a lot of now buildings going The small grain seems to be dolin -well, especiatly oats, and we lool forw'ard to a bountiful harvest, aE there is large acreage iplanted. As the results of the recent rainf we alive several bridges down, anc 0ur roads 'are in very -bad conditior to the chagrin of our R. F. D. carriers Messrs. W. D.
