Morrison attended the recent Sunday School convention in Greenwood and the union meeting at Droadmouth. Mr. John Frank Hill, of Abbeville, recently visited his -parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Riogers recent ly spent a -wepk in Asheville with their daughter, 'Mtw. Davis. Mr. Ollie Ellison is spending his va cation with his mother, In Anderson. Mrs. G. W. Jenkins, of Columbia, is visiting her parents, -Dr. and Mrs. W. T. Jones. Mr. 'Ernest Mattison, of Atlanta, re cently visited his parents, Judge and Mrs. B. F. Mattison. Our cousin, -Mr. Wilmot Smith, of Greenville, was most cordially greet ed by his friends at Ware Shoals on a recent visit. Large quantities of melons are mar keted daily at Ware Shoals. The farmers are fearful that the boll weevils are materially injuring the cotton crop. -Large crowds visit Ware Shoals daily to inspect the 'handsome new store that has been completed. King, of Greenwood, is build ing the approaches to Turkey Creek bridge. -Mrs. E. E. 'Martin and sons, Frank, William, Eugene and Walter -Lyles, is visiting her parents, Dr. and Mrs. W. T. Jones.
