Mr. Damon Gasque, who has been visiting relatives in the lower part o the state, arrived in the city a few days ago to be with his iparents, Mr. and AMrs. C. II. Curry surlirised their friends Satur day afternoon -by going to Simpson ville, where they were married by the Methodist minister there. After the marriage ceremony they left for a short 'honeymoon to the mountains of North Carolina, returning to the city Monday afternoon. The bride is the attractive daughter of Mirs. S. D. Clil dress and is a young lady of many fine traits of character.
