DIAL President the Vald City of Laurens has duly considered said petition, canvassed the same, and found it to be in proper form, and signed by the reqluired number of freeholders as prescribed by the Constitution and Statute Ljaws of the State of South 'arolina, made and provided in such cases, anti pon consideration thereof adopted an Ordinance and Resolution dated 14th (lay of uJly, 1921 that the 'prayer of the petition be granted, and that the queistion of said bonds shall be sub mitted to the qualified, dlly register led electors of said City of Laurens, at a Special Election to be held in and rot tie said City of i2aurens on the 23rd day of August, 1921.
