Senator Smith, who will enter the
second primary with Warren as his
opponent, deniies the charge4 contain
ed in Warren's statement, denouncing
as "absolutely false" the statemmeit
that he was inl any colination in his
race for the senate, "except with the
people of South Carolina" to serve
