celebrated hera Sunday, the exercises
taking place in the morning. A large
and varied program was rendered by
the children whose achievemlients were
a credit to themselves and the two
young ladies. Misses Cecil Owings and
Alva Stoddard, who had charge of the
progranm and the trainin ig of the lit

Laurens has plenty of steam railways,
but it is off a "main trunk line" and

Now there are 500 or 1,000 of thei

are widely disseminated. If Laurens
shall move along as it is now moving,
