It. lichey, .Ir., President Dabb. of the City Demo eratic club has ordered two meetings to be held at whieb candidates for mayor and alderman may ext)res(s their views. The first of the two meetings was to have been held at. the Laurens Mill school house last night, but was postponed until next Tue'sday night on account of the inclemency of the weather and the uncertainty of hav ing lights. The meeting for the city boxes is to be held in t he court house Thursday evening at S o'clock. Alder manic as well as mayoralty candidates are invited to take part in the meet ings. Reports from the enrolilment com mittees showed yesterday that very lit tle work had been done toward en rolling the voters except In Ward Three, where he work is almost coml pleted.
