the Irish irepublic for lecognitioti as
an independent government was
brought to congress again today and
was debated in inilitant fashion
through a tempestuous all-day session
of the house cognmit tee on foreign af
fairs.

town today and have fled to the moun
talis, according to Mexican Consul G.
M. Sequin, tonight. Francisco Villa
was in command of the forces, the
consul announced, following a visit
to military headquarters in Piedras
Negras. opposite Eagle Pass.

train loads of federal troops is ex
pected to aeach Muzquiz Saturday
morning, while one thousand govern
ment troops under (leneral Truneda
are moving from Chihuahua with the
intention of Intercepting the fleeing
Villa forces, according to Consul Se
guin. The federals are now in. com
plete poss;ession of Aluzuiz, he added.

federals and Villistas had been receiv
