Ville Platte, 'La., Nov. 23.-Twenty five Per-son1s, mostlY women and girls, perished. In a burning building here last night, when 300 attending a dance beeane panic stricken and stampeded down a narrow stairway and were crushed to death or burned. Fifteen are known to have been dangerously injured.
