Will not lessen the consumer's de mand for expensive de livery and credit service. 11. Can not at the same time raise prices paid farmers for live stock, and lower prices paid by consum ' ers for meat. But the slowing up of efficiency due to cumbersome governmental routine will have the effect of increasing the manufacturing charges between the cost of live stock and the cost of meats, thus forcing lower live-stock prices or higher meat prices.
