as the years go by it will be enlarged
until it becomes an institution of con
siderable size.
It was decided to locate the home
for the feeble-minded at Clinton sev

charities and correction, the organiza

Richey, yesterday, written from France
October 28th, in which Lieut. Richey
told that he had been honored by the
French with the Croix do Guerre for

at the time and had to be sent to the
rear untitted for further combatant

Babb Gilkeison, died at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. W. I. (ilkerson, Sr.,
Thursday morning shortly after ten
o'clock. Mrs. (Gilkerson had been sick
of influeliza, but no doubt tile shock
occasioned by the deatlh of tier hus
band and that of her sister, also, juost
a few weeks biefore, was largely instru
mental in bringing oi ier own death.
