He will be in this training school for live weeks, at the end of which time, if he passes the rertuired examinations, he will be as signed to duty somewhere in the army. At his last service held here Sunday evening the church granted hin leave of absence for live weeks without any cesastion of salary. Rev. P. S. The senate's decision, by a narg' of but one majority-27 to 26-to ad journ until August, which the house actiom forestalled, was said by lead ers to have been prompted by .belief that the wire control legislation would not be substantially delayed, in view of vigorous opposition and eilland for thorough investigation. The House sprang its surprise as; the senators were awaiting word that the concurrent resolution had been passed,' and were preparing to leave town for the summer vacation.
