With about a third of the alloted
time gone, Laurens county lacks ap
proximately $85,000 of going "over the
top" ii the i berty Loan campaign.
The exact figures as inabulated ' by
Chairman Aiken last night were $18:1,
150 subscribed of the total of $265,sft
alloted to the county. Cilitoni has
lead all the towns of the counly in
the third drive, having already exceed
ed its iuotai by several thousand an(
is reaching out to attain the Hun
dred Thou sand mark. Chairman Boyd.

gratifying response from his towns
men, $75,250 already having been
subscribed, while the quota is $72,300.
The total subscriptions in the city
of Lattrens yesterday afternoon
allouinted to $7.1,100 and the quota
asked of the city and surrounding
country is $1.11,800. Chairman Aiken

dent that the Laurens quota would be
met and he hoped that it would he
met by the subscript ions of Individ
