The Laurens city jail consists of
four cells, each about 6 x 7 1-2 x 15
feet in size. The evlls open on a cor
ridor running east and west, the cells
facing norti. The en( cell on the
wlst is used for a coal storage bin,
llaving three for use. There were no
risoners at the time of (tnr visit, but
we were told 11111 as many as 16 peo
