iesses who will testify concerning
iappenings iII Camp Logan before the
iegroes marched on the city already

The mutinous events in, the camp,
luring which negroes disobeyed com
nands of ofilcers and rushed the am
nunition .tents, procuring rifles and
immunition, fired liindreds of shots in
the camp, while they believed a mob
if Houston civilians was about to at
tack them, and their hasty exit from
the camp toward the city, have been
narrated in% detail during the first
three days of the trial.
Among important matters yet to be
testified about. are the happenings in
the city of Ilouston. where twenty-two
lives were lost following thel march

Sergt. Henry, a negro, who was

active in organizing the negroes to

Altogetlher twenty-one negroes
among the sixty-three defendants have
been identified in court by witnesses
as having been engaged in various
unlawful actions oil the night of the
