The colleetion 'of 0'h)ossum is, rabbits, hounds -and bird dogs was rather re stricted in number and comnparisons were out of order on account of lack of competition. One collie dlog,. one setter, one -hound and two puppies con stituted the bench show. All of them got blue rillbons. The ladies' department was the out standing feature of the fair. The county-wide interest in the conserva ,tion of Lood resources was manisfested "'to a large degree in this department. 'The~ long tables and shelves in the court room were burdened with piok ies and preserves, fruita, vegetables and edibles of every descri-ption, can nod and iUncanned.
