tor J. A. l3rock, of Laurens, cane to
our help on Baturday, August 18th,
and -preached for nine (lays. Mr.
Brock has iever had the advantage in
life that lie would wish to have, but
after a long strenuotyi struggle, he be
come convinced and to feel strongly
that God wanted him in the ministry
of the Gospel. Soon he set out to be
one of God's servants and his influence
has been greatly felt wherever he has
gone. Our people here do not recall
a meeting that has reached us so of
fectively. The Lord was WithI us in
the presence and power of tie Spirit.
