Nashville, larch 8.-With the arrest
of John Lightsinger here today the
police believe they have ended the se
ries of church robberies that have
taken place here recently. The author
ities say IUghtsinger confessed that he
had robbed eight churches in Nashville.
The police say Lightsinger hauled a
plano away fromi a church last night
and sold it to a negro. When the ne
gro insisted that a stool go with the
instrument, Lightsinger is said to have
returned two miles to the church, ob
taiued the stool an(] completed the deal.
